I am coming with my wife and we will stay at least 2 years. We do bring some personal effect but they are limited. Ideally I would like an unfurnished appartment and purchase some furniture our self, which the land-lord could take into consideration in the monthly rent. A bed e.g. I would not like to get second-hand as you can imagine!
Budget of course depends on the location but somewhere around 1500-2000 is what we are planning for. 2-3 bedrooms would be enough.
